Just over a week ago (1 week and 16 hours) I made a post on the Tech. Support forum. Before being able to do that I was forced to do a password reset because the site wouldn't let me in.
Today I returned to the site and was again refused entry and had to reset my password again!!! This isn't a case of my memory being faulty as I use a password manager and it has remembered the password correctly.
This has happened many times before.
Is it possible to find what's been going wrong and to fix it.

We use this site engine (drupal 7) for many sites for many years. Never seen such problem.

Yes, you're the only person affected.
We do not log authentication data on our sites, so no way to recover the problem source. If you have your HTTP sessions dump it may help.
